Day 2 of the Girly Challenge

I don't have time to type about it now, Karaoke Co-Hosting waits for no one....and i'm already late. More Pics Below.

Day 1 of the Girly Challenge

So today...I was half about to give up before I really started cause I had trouble finding something to wear. I finally did settle on something. Pants (cause it's cold) and a shirt that I thought was pretty girly. Some earrings, nail polish (that's too light, think i need a darker shade) and heels.

When I came to the livingroom to ask my mom how i looked, she exclaimed, "Ewe too girly!" LOL. That was the point mom.

I had to go out today, of course, to get my car repaired at the dealership. So on went the heels and i was off...of course i forgot to bring a jacket so no only was i very girly looking, i had no way to cover up. I was a bit out of my element not having my 'security blanket' (either of my pin-stripped jackets, nor one of my fedoras). But, I did what I do best. Pretended i was fine w/o it and that no one was staring at me.
Did I mention that my heels were 1 size too big? They were flip-flopping off of me occasionally and I had to constantly remind myself that I couldn't walk as fast as I was used to walking.

I eventually got home and a friend I haven't see in a while was there. She thought I looked Great! Awesome!

So yeah, day 1 is done. Now on to day 2....I still have no idea what i'm wearing tomorrow, which is also my weekly Karaoke Co-Hosting night. I do tend to dress up there a good deal, usually with less make up, but i still haven't decided on what to wear.

Girly Challenge

Last night I was chatting with one of my 'Beautiful Menz' (as I call my crossdresser friends), we were chatting about how I don't often dress girly. I prefer jeans and t-shirts to skirts and dresses. I grew up being of the tomboy sort. Only wore dresses and skirts when required by parent law. I didn't put up much of a fuss about it, but I never really had a desire to wear skirts and such. Besides a school picture day i remember wearing a skirt once and feeling self-conscious about it. At my high school prom people (including my date, who was one of my jrotc/basketball buddies) were astonished to see me in a dress and looking like a girl.

Anywho, I was challenged to look girly for a week (he said he did it...don't know if i believe him) ...I think I will take this challenge. Requirements are Make-up, nail polish, girly clothing... earrings too. I don't have a lot of skirts or dresses for everyday wear but I will try to avoid loose fitting jeans. I figure skinny jeans are girly as well as leggings. I will try not to wear sneakers or my 'work' shoes, unless I have to work. If I have work...well...I have to wear my work clothes, but I will put on makeup in the morning.

I will post pictures here every day of my challenge. I will either start tomorrow (Sunday) or Monday.

Who here thinks I can actually do it?... who knows... but I'm willing to try. Break out of my usual wardrobe of jeans, blazers and fedoras and wear...er...girly things...

Resolution Fail

So less than a month and I failed at my attempt to post every week, but you know what, I'm still trying. Update, Had a chat with one of the most passing, beautiful CD's I've had the pleasure of telling me that I'm Hot (even though he's 10 times hotter as a girl than I am). I chat with him from time to time. He works as a man then has fun as a woman. His neighbors think there are 2 people living at his place. Awesome.
